GREEN V. WHITE MEET #1 THANKS
Thanks for a fabulous first swim meet. We really appreciate all of the families who showed up and put together a wonderful competition experience for our Gators! Special shout-out to all of the NEW parent volunteers who stepped right into big jobs to help make the meet run smoothly! We simply couldn't do it without you!

RESULTS
A PDF of the meet's results is attached. There were a few more errors than expected in operating the electronic timing system, so please feel free to ask questions or suggest changes to any issues you might find. Any mistakes are easy to correct in order to ensure our athletes get the recognition they earned!

After a few days, once any needed corrections have been made, we will upload these results to SwimTopia, so they can be viewed along with other meet results.

RIBBONS
Ribbons from Friday's meet will be distributed to swimmers after practice today, Wednesday, and Friday. After this, ribbons can be picked up by request during practice. The Lakeside staff won't be able to retrieve ribbons for families outside of practice time.

SPECIAL EVENT THIS WEDNESDAY!!!
Please see the attached flier for this Wednesday's very special event with 2012 Olympian Clark Burckle! Clark is a former Quarry Gator and Lakeside Seahawk who generously gives some of his time each season to our awesome Gators! He'll be joining us this Wednesday, November 19 to provide in-water stroke work and coaching with all swimmers ages 9 and over from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

We understand that not every family can attend practice as early as 4:30 p.m., but we are happy to accommodate late arrivals to Clark's clinic on Wednesday! Please show up wherever you can and join in!

Clark will take time to visit with our swimmers ages 8 and under to take a picture and maybe even have a big splash contest! All swimmers ages 8 and under should attend their regularly scheduled 45-minute practice times at 4:30 or 5:15 p.m.
