Lakeside Quarry Gators -- Summer 2026 Pre-Season Update #1
Hello QG Families!
This is the first of a few pre-season updates you'll want to read in full. We have a lot of new info to share and several order deadlines coming up QUICKLY!
COMMUNICATION
You may get emails directly from this address until the first day of practice, while we allow new families to register on both of our websites. We will also send communications via Swimtopia to those who are registered there. If that means you are getting double notifications, you now know why.

TRYOUTS
If you are a NEW swimmer, you need to sign up for a tryout time here:
https://www.If you cannot attend the tryout on Tuesday, we have added slots for alternate tryouts on Saturday and Sunday. If these still don't work, please send us and email and we'll keep track of your needs and schedule a tryout closer to the start of the season.
SWIMTOPIA REGISTRATION
As a reminder, your registration is NOT complete until you also register with Swimtopia, our team's communication and meet management platform. If you don't do this by Memorial Day weekend, you won't get any more emails, and you won't be able to sign your swimmers up for meets. Please do this ASAP!

The QG parent committee is ordering customizable silicone swim caps with the Quarry Gators logo. Please use the form below to order your caps before the deadline of THIS THURSDAY, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.:

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These silicone caps are made of a more durable, higher-quality material and many users find that they fit better, don’t pull on your hair as much, and are easier to put on and take off. In addition, adding a name to your cap will help parents and parent volunteers easily spot their athletes during crowded swim meets.
(As a reminder, ordering a silicone cap is optional. Lakeside still provides standard, non-customized latex swim caps to any swimmer who needs them, as well as replacements for damaged/aged/worn caps.)
PRICE
Caps are only sold in pairs for $30. Customization is not required, but the price remains the same for plain and customized caps.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made to Stephanie Saxton via her Venmo account: @Stephanie-Saxton-3 and for verification purposes the last 4 digits of her phone number are 2516.
Please comment “QG - [your child’s first and last name]” on your payment.
DEADLINE
All orders must be submitted and paid for by THIS THURSDAY, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Orders received after this time will not be fulfilled. Orders submitted following this deadline or orders not paid for by this deadline will not be fulfilled.
DELIVERY
Delivery is expected by the second week of June.

TEAM APPAREL ORDERS
We are happy to share that our team apparel store is now open! Coach T and the parent committee have put together some really great new items for our QG families to wear proudly at meets and beyond! You can place your orders until midnight on Friday, May 29, and they will be delivered before our first swim meet on June 15.
